About Traveling from Phoenix airport to Chandler (ocotillo) at 10pm at night

Traveling from Phoenix airport to Chandler (ocotillo) at 10pm at night?
The most obvious way to travel would be by cab, but 23 miles cab must be pretty pricey, I was just wondering if there was a cheap shuttle, or if the light rail was close to the air port and got me closer to Chandler, and then I could cab from their? Thanks!

The light rail only goes to Mesa. Do you know anyone there who could pick you up from the airport? I live too far (90 miles) away or else I would. See how much a cab ride would cost. Then if you do have a contact person in Chandler, offer to pay their teenager to pick you up. Good luck!

About I am traveling to the Phoenix/Chandler area. Where is the core nightlife in the area

I am traveling to the Phoenix/Chandler area. Where is the core nightlife in the area?
Im specifically headed to Chandler on Memorial day weekend. Im looking to book a hotel in the Phoenix metro area, but I am unsure of where the nightlife is. I want to get a hotel that is walkable to bars/clubs/etc. Any advice?

Mill Ave in Tempe is all the nightlife. But it will be a little less than normal since that's where all the ASU students party and they will be out of school by then. But it should still be pretty busy. I love Big Bang Piano bar there. Plus this is the closest to Chandler. There are some clubs in Scottsdale but they are more like dance clubs then chill bars and I personally think it's all douchebags that go there, all the Scottsdale people with their fake tans and fake boobs. if you're into that check out E4 on Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale and find a hotel around there. There's Westgate, which a plaza in Glendale with some cool restaurants and bars that are pretty chill. There is a hotel right there in the plaza but it's not near Chandler- it's about 35 minutes away.

Valley Metro provides service along Chandler Blvd. 7 days a week, and along Glibert Rd. Mon.-Sat. Check the bus schedules for routes 136 and 156 for more info. Valley Metro also offers a trip planner to help you find your own route between two street adresses, landmarks or intersections. This might also be useful on Sunday when the Glibert Road route is not running
